Got to assist my good friend and mentor Andy Saftel in the printshop at Haystack recently. Making collographs, woodblocks, monoprints, and solving all the world's problems. After a few days straightening blankets, and adjusting pressure on the press, our crew settled into a groove and I got to start a project of my own. Here are few shots of the blocks and proofing of Squirt Burst. Color inspiration provided by Beth from Rhode Islands' shirt, Nehi Soda, Reese's Pieces, and a cool old Rocks and Minerals book.
